HWP had used to be a joint venture company with N. V. Organon for 20 years. From 2004 HW re-started as a local company after dissolving amicably through mutual consultation. So far, HWP has been growing every year by licensed products and R &D through business cooperation with the foreign companies. 


HWP’s Drug Development Programs
HWP’s discovery program focuses on metabolic disease and intractable diseases with large unmet medical needs. The main R&D areas include the development of new chemical drugs and natural products.  In addition, The R & D centre also endeavours the development of new formulation drugs using Drug Delivery System.
