« Company Overview
IP-Korea has been established on April 2004 as a public funded Korean Research Institute, financed by the Ministry of Science and Technology(MOST) and the Gyeonggi Provincial Government(Gyeonggi Province) with the aim of developing new technologies to facilitate a “Genome to Drugs” R&D Institute.
IP-Korea is a novel collaborative research institution where the Institut Pasteur (Paris) and KIST have jointly put in place a new Genome to Drugs program. IP-Korea builds on the latest developments in biological research; where genomic analysis, proteomic studies, and live cell imaging have vastly accelerated the pace and effectiveness of research. Combining insights into the molecular biology of disease with cutting edge technology is one of the promising approaches in the drive for novel therapies and drugs. Institut Pasteur Korea combines the Pasteur Institute’s strength in biomedical research with Korean expertise in information technology and nanotechnology, creating a new chapter in Biotechnology.
