Digitalbiotech Co., Ltd. ( ‘Company’ ) is a Korean biotechnology company focused on the discovery and development of the New Drugs for human central nervous system diseases. Company has developed especially in therapeutic areas with unmet medical needs such as Alzheimer’s disease and neuropathic pain since 2001. 
Now the Company has leads and candidates act as beta-amyloid aggregation and toxicity inhibitors for Alzheimer’s disease and as ligands of the TRPV1 receptor (Rc) for neuropathic pain. As a reult, Company out-lisenced TRPV1 Rc antagonists to the Grunenthal Pharmaceutical GmbH in 2005. In 2007, Company and Grunenthal made second licensing for novel mechanism drug of analgesics.
Executive Summary
Our company focused on Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and neuropathic pain. We have matured pipe-line for these diseases. For the AD, we have beta amyloid targeted compound called AlzMedex which has beta amyloid aggregation inhibiting activity and plaque solubilization activity. For the neuropathic pain, we have TRPV1 agonist (NeuroPatch) and antagonist (Grunentix). Already we out-licensed Grunentix to Grunenthal GmBH in Germany. We want to license out our product and technology to global pharmaceutical company through this networking. Global market analysis reveals new drug development in these fields is important and our products will contribute to increase major market.
